Forget your daily trot and let things take their course: Over ‘Hüttener Berge’, through the recreational forests of the nature park ‘Aukrug’, round the lakes in the nature park ‘Westensee’, along the Kiel Canal or the historical ‘Ochsenweg’ (‘Oxen’s path’).Whoever is without a bike can count on an excellent infrastructure. The bicycle project in Rendsburg lends around 300 touring bikes, children’s bikes, tandems and even fun bikes, including accessories such as crash helmets, child seats and map holders. They’ll even bring the equipment to you wherever you start your trip! A picnic is also available on request. The most delightful nooks and crannies on charming paths can be discovered also on shark’s pony. Three important European long-distance hiking paths lead through this region.
